acpi

I've compiled 2.6.25-rc3 and am noticing that acpi is not giving me any info
when I disconnect the ac-adapter as well as powertop, is there a solution to
this, or is there a
patch that I need so acpi can read the battery info when the ac-adapter is
unplugged.(when unplugging the ac-adapter and issuing acpi I see = Battery
1: charged, 99%)
