I've got an 11.1" Vaio. I regularly get down to 8.5W with WiFi on and when I'm on an aircraft down 
to about 7.5-7.8..

Not unusual to get 6 hours from the standard battery and 11 hours from the Extended if WiFi is off..
5/10.5 if WiFi is on.

Wish I could get more than 12 hours in S3 though.. It usually draws 4-5 watts while suspended.
