On my laptop, I rarely use USB or any other peripherals that can be attached to it. I end up executing the following to reduce the number of wakeups. rmmod ehci_hcd uhci_hcd ohci1394 tifm_7xx1 b44 Does this affect power management of the concerned devices ? Do I require the modules to put the corresponding devices to low power states ? Thanks Ganesha
