Hello to everybody!

I was just trying to optimize my laptops power consumption. I have an Atheros WiFi Card installed (ThinkPad T41p). Im using madwifi-ng on gentoo. On Powertop i see, that the ath-module causes (when turned on my wifi card) my CPU not to enter C3/C4. When I'm connected via cable, I can get almost 95% C3/C4.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Or can anybody give me a hint so that i can solve the problem b myself (cuz im actually not used to write kernel stuff code...)?
