tips & tricks for the Non-PhD

Yeah, I noticed that - is there any way to set it to remember the settings?
I just do "sudo powertop" everytime I switch to batteries, play the
button-pushing game with powertop and make my battery last longer (what a
prize!)

It also suggests that I load the kernel with some usb command, but I don't
exactly now where to put that in my menu.lst file.
