Probably because adding a tip with "press this button to let your 
computer overheat" was not considered a priority :-).

There's not very much space for disclaimers in the powertop window, 
where the tips are displayed.  Of course it would still be nice to have 
some sort of pointer, suggesting that acpi interrupts might be caused by 
thermal zone polling.
