usb_hcd_poll_rh_status

Hi,

does anyone know what "usb_hcd_poll_rh_status" exactly is and if there 
is a way to make it cause less wakeups?
It seems that it is pretty active on my system and causes lots of wakeups:

70.1% ( 20.0)     <kernel core> : usb_hcd_poll_rh_status (rh_timer_func)

20 wakeups are not that much, but as you see - 70% of my total wakeups! 
This is quite annoying...so if I can do something about it please tell me ;)
