Nvidia binary driver and Inspiron E1505

Yes, I've had the same thing, but I noticed that when I ran PowerTop
from the console rather than an Xterm, that went away. It does make
some sense, but not a whole lot since the Xterm doesn't really _do_
much graphically. Also if your desktop has any effects going on in the
background (like E17 has 'active' desktops, that can change colors and
stuff) that'll activate it.
