You recall right. And it is responsible for
some 50 wakeups per second here, another
50 go to USB polling if loaded,
the rest is negligible -- or rather add up
to the 3 or so wakeups the website claims
can be reached.

How these lookups for activity on keys can
be taken away is well above my head,
I don't find any clues on it.
