Kicker activity

Hi,
I finally got down to 8.3W when idle on my x60s thanks to the guidance 
powertop provided. Now one thing that still gets pretty high in the list is 
kicker. Is there any way (apart from unloading it) to reduce the wakups 
caused by kicker? After all, what does it (or the programs docked in) need to 
look for all that time ;-) Might making it static with no dynamic progs in it 
help (i.e. no fading out, no clock etc.)
