Hi there!

You could try something like the following:

- Annotate your current wake-ups/second
- Kill X and login to a tty. That should rule out fglrx. Annotate new
  wake-ups/second (probably it's 60.0 wake-ups/sec less)
- rmmod yenta and all the pcmcia subsystem. Check wake-ups/second.
- rmmod uhci-hcd. Once again, check wake-ups/second
