-hrt patchset on 64 bit kernel

Can anyone on this mailing list confirm that the -hrt patchset works or 
does not work on 64 bit kernels to enable the tickless feature?
I've tried several version of 2.6.22-rc4-hrt* up to -hrt10 without luck 
- the kernel compiles fine but the screen stays black when booting the 
new kernel. There is no disk activity as well, so I guess the -hrt 
kernels just don't work at all one my Core2 Duo system.
I'd really like to know if this problem is specific to my system or a 
general 64 bit -hrt problem.
