cross compile powertop

hello,

does anyone cross-compile powertop to make it work under any other
architecture, e.g. ARM processors or MIP?
and i want to know whether it is feasible to cross-compile powertop to other
architecture for power consumption measurement?

i just wonder the result generated by cross-compiled powertop on other
architecture would be same accurate as it is running on Intel/AMD PCs.

p.s although i have some problem to cross-compile latest kernel to embeded
environment.



i have some suggestions on powertop:

1) maybe it is possible for powertop to generate data which can be loaded in
Openoffice Calc or M$ Excel.
2) maybe it is possible to generated some visual stuff directly from
powertop, some charts for example.
3) maybe some powertopGUI can be created?

powertop developers might think about above a bit.
