power consumption issues :)

Ok, almost confirmed it today that it is indeed an issue. The battery goes down from 100% to 40% within an hour in bad state, consuming 65W and doing nothing :). And in good state, it goes down to 55% within an hour @ 40W. The fans do whine a little more frequently in the bad state.

Btw, another thing I observed in the bad state is that if I start doing something heavy, say compiling or something, the interrupts per second come down, and down to even 150 or so per second :o. And once the load is done, it again comes back to 22000 per sec :(.
